Main Info
Introduction:
This trek is spectacular from lush vegetation of monsoon and temperate forests to the terraced rice fields, giving the trekkers a tantalizing introduction to Nepal’s cultural and natural beauty.
This trek starts from Nepal’s second largest valley, the beautiful Pokhara valley-with magnificent scenery and a Himalayan panorama of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, where Machapuchere, the fish tail peak, stands out majestically. This will be a good walking holiday as some of the best middle hill trekking is done in this region. The trek combines incredible ethnic and cultural diversity and traverses very beautiful villages full of friendly people.
Panchase peak offers the best point for dramatic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu ranges.
It is also a pilgrimage spot for the local people who assemble yearly to pay homage to their deceased ancestors, and make offerings to their local deities and mountain spirits.
